Directions
Join OACP for a hike in Washington Park led by OACP member Dale Carstensen. Dale leads evening hikes twice a week on the west side and has a lot of experience navigating the extensive trail networks in the arboretum, Washington and Forest Parks, and adjoining streets. We will adapt our speed and distance for the group based on the experience and fitness level of the attendees. Dale's goal is for everyone that joins to have a great time getting outdoors and connecting with fellow members while out on the trails. It will be a family friendly event, and we hope you'll consider joining us.
- When: Saturday 9/20 starting at 10a
- Where: Meet at the Washington Park tennis courts – 498 SW Kingston Ave, Portland OR 97205
- Plan: approximately 5 mile hike (about 2hrs – Dale says all hiking levels will be happy) that would take us by the new reflecting pool (the old reservoir), the Rhododendron trail and near Hoyt Arboretum.
- We would finish at about 12p and then the group can opt for lunch afterwards. Maybe Lucky Lab on NW Quimby, or one of the many Food Cart Pods in PDX.
Refund Policy
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If a request is made, the request is discussed by the board or committee and a refund is made if that’s the board or committee’s decision.
