Finding Equity Without Refinancing: Divorce Solutions for Tough Markets
Join us for a discussion on one of today’s most pressing divorce challenges: dividing property when mortgage refinancing is difficult or impossible in the current high-rate environment. We’ll cover key things lawyers should know about different mortgage types, creative strategies for addressing these issues, and important drafting considerations for judgments.
We’ll also explore the very real human impact: when couples can’t refinance, they often can’t physically separate living spaces. How can families cope with continued co-habitation? What adjustments to parenting plans and co-parenting dynamics are necessary when ex-partners must share a roof?
